I’m a hopeless romantic, I cry literally all the time (can you tell I’m a Cancer?). Our daily interactions are so gentle + sweet that I’m constantly overwhelmed by them in the best way possible. Using my camera to document the moments of love & happiness is one of my favorite things in life!
My biggest goal as a photographer is to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera to the point of where it just feels like friends hanging out rather than a nervous little photoshoot. Trust and comfort play a huge role in not only my photos, but in the environment I create for us as well. I want you leaving the photoshoot with ease, full of love, and excitement!
A little about me
I grew up in a tiny town in South Eastern Wisconsin. I spent a lot of my childhood outside, fishing, playing in the backyard, playing sports, and hanging out with my family! My Dad was always going around taking photos with his film camera no matter what occasion & I got very interested in it when he started developing his photos at home.
When I was around 16, my Dad gave me one of his Canon AT-1 Film cameras and I quickly fell in love. I started off photographing random buildings and nature, but then wanted to explore more — I ended up shooting couples & families when I was in my teens, moved to editorial portraits during the pandemic, and then slowly made my way back to couples, but now mixing in weddings!
I’m a big fan of reality TV, Thai takeout, kitschy decor, and baking desserts! When I’m not out & about taking photos, you can find me hiking in the mountains with partner (now FIANCE. OW OW), going to a local concert, or just talking about music online (iykyk).
I have quickly fallen in love with documenting + capturing real love between two humans — There’s something about it that A. Makes me cry every time and B. Makes me truly believe this is what I was meant to do in life.
I’ve been a hopeless romantic since I was in my teens (shout out Eternal Sunshine) and getting to watch couples express their love with each other and myself getting to document it makes me feel like I’m watching a romantic indie rom-com unfold.
I love having the quiet approach of letting things happen + going with the flow and that’s exactly what you’ll get when working alongside me; Nothing forced or extremely posed to match the traditional wedding flow. I’ll be there to document your day as it truly happens ♡
